This is an interesting website about London created by Virgin Atlantic (I think…). Not only the graphics are something worth looking at, but the whole concept is quite unusual.
Is this any good, or just a bit of a novelty flash-assist script? I’m liking the RSS feed, whatever the case…
Some pretty nifty flash scripting and use of colour/paint blobs makes this a nice little 5 minute toy. Try making offensive shapes - I did, and it’s harder than you might think…http://jacksonpollock.org/
BBC Radio 4’s “In Business” show discussed the future of the internet. Unlikely you will hear anything new, but still an interesting insight and commentary on blogs, social networks and Web 2.0. It is 30 mins long.
This is a bit old, but still worth the mention.
The BBC has staked a claim to a virtual tropical island where it can stage online music festivals and throw exclusive celebrity parties. The rented island exists in online game Second Life and will hold its first event this weekend with bands including Muse, Razorlight and Gnarls Barkley.
Brilliant! Pick a city and download a podcast with relevant music (someone else chose for you!). Â
